I believe therapy should feel as straightforward as possible, including when it comes to understanding how you’ll pay for it.
Collective Wellness offers both insurance-based and private-pay options, so you can choose what works best for you.
I work with insurance plans through Headway. If you’re interested in using your insurance, Headway can help verify your benefits and determine whether your plan is accepted.
Depending on your plan, you may have a deductible, copay, coinsurance, or other out-of-pocket costs. Insurance coverage can vary, so I recommend confirming your specific benefits before beginning therapy.
When you schedule through Headway, you’ll be able to provide your insurance information and get a better idea of your expected costs.
Private-pay therapy is $115 for a 50-minute session.
Choosing private pay can be a good fit if you don’t have insurance, prefer not to use your insurance for therapy, or simply want to keep things simple and straightforward.
Payment is due at the time of each session.
Sliding scale/reduced fees are available to those who need it - this can be discussed in a consultation.
To schedule with private pay and/or request a phone consultation to learn more - reach out to me by email carrie@collectivewellness-llc.com
If your insurance plan offers out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your therapy costs.
I can provide a superbill when appropriate, but reimbursement is determined by your insurance company and your individual plan. Before beginning therapy, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, reimbursement rate, and any documentation they require.
I know that figuring out the financial side of therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already carrying a lot.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or getting started, you’re welcome to reach out. My goal is for you to understand your options and feel comfortable with the process before we begin.
