Mindful Mondays

Nature Walk + Outdoor Yoga

2nd Mondays of the month

Life doesn't always come with spaces to slow down.

If you're navigating a season of change, feeling disconnected, or simply longing for a moment to breathe, you're invited to join us for a guided nature gathering.

Together, we'll take a gentle walk through nature, practice mindfulness, engage in quiet reflection, and share in meaningful conversation (sharing is always optional). Through simple invitations to notice the natural world, we'll explore themes of grounding, connection, and intention while enjoying the restorative benefits of being outdoors.

We'll also gather outdoors for gentle yoga and breathwork, creating space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and deepen our sense of presence. The practice will be accessible and grounding, with an emphasis on mindful movement, breath, and connection rather than physical intensity.

No hiking experience, yoga experience, artistic ability, or mindfulness practice is required; just a willingness to slow down and be present. This gathering is intentionally small to foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

What to expect:

  • A gentle, accessible nature walk
  • Guided mindfulness and grounding practices
  • Outdoor gentle yoga and breathwork
  • Creative expression with nature objects (all materials provided)
  • A simple closing nature art activity to carry an intention into the season ahead
  • Opportunities to connect with others in a relaxed, authentic way
  • Option to stay for tea and reflective journaling prompts from 11–11:30

Please bring:

  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • A yoga mat
  • Water
  • A journal (optional if wanting to engage in journaling time; paper will also be provided)
  • Clothing appropriate for the weather

About the Facilitators

Carrie Daub, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Collective Wellness. As a Certified Nature Informed Therapist, Carrie shares her love of nature with the community. Carrie integrates her knowledge and experience of mindfulness practices to guide participants through grounding experiences to facilitate connection with nature and connection with oneself.

Ashlyn Schwartz, PhD, RYT-200 is the founder of The Collective Om, where she bridges her background in public health research with yoga, breathwork, meditation, and other mind-body practices. Her trauma-informed approach creates opportunities to slow down, reconnect with the body and breath, and cultivate greater connection with oneself and others.

Please note: This gathering is a community wellness event facilitated by licensed therapists and wellness practitioners. It is designed to support reflection, connection, and well-being but is not a psychotherapy group or a substitute for mental health treatment. Participation in all activities and discussions is always voluntary.

We hope you'll leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected, and reminded that you don't have to navigate life's in-between seasons alone.

Cost: This is a pay-what-you-can community gathering. Donations are optional and can be made at the event.
